A nationally recognized engineering consultancy is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to support the planning and design of water and wastewater conveyance systems in the Seattle area. About the Role
This position focuses on the design and delivery of pump stations, pipelines, and related infrastructure for water and wastewater systems. You'll work closely with a collaborative team of engineers and planners to develop innovative solutions for critical public utilities. The team values in-person collaboration and a hands-on approach to project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support engineering design for water and wastewater conveyance systems, including pump stations and pipelines.
- Conduct hydraulic modeling and analysis.
- Prepare technical reports, design plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Evaluate design alternatives and contribute to feasibility studies.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Support the preparation of permitting and construction documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in consulting engineering, with a focus on water/wastewater infrastructure.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Strong understanding of hydraulic systems and infrastructure design.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $95,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications
