Managing Director - Forensic Accountant
Our client, a leading advisory firm, is seeking a commercially driven Managing Director to lead their Forensic Accounting practice. This is a senior-level opportunity for a proven expert with deep technical capabilities and a strong track record of revenue generation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering complex forensic engagements, including business interruption claims, litigation support, and expert witness testimony, while driving strategic growth and mentoring a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Revenue Generation: Independently generate a minimum of $500,000 in annual billings.
- Client Engagement: Lead forensic accounting assignments across disputes, investigations, and advisory matters, including:
- Business interruption and insurance claims
- Fraud and financial misconduct investigations
- Expert witness testimony and litigation support
- Business Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with law firms, corporates, insurers, and regulatory bodies to drive new business.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of forensic professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Strategic Growth: Contribute to the development of service offerings and market strategy to enhance the firm's competitive edge.
Candidate Profile:
- CPA, ACA, or equivalent qualification (CFE/CFA a plus)
- 10+ years' experience in forensic accounting, disputes, or investigations
- Demonstrated ability to generate $500K+ in personal revenue annually
- Proven experience in business interruption claims and expert witness work
- Strong network across legal, insurance, and corporate sectors
- Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
