Sales Representative - Industrial Wastewater Solutions
Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for environmental innovation and industrial process optimization? We're looking for a Sales Representative to join our team, helping clients solve complex wastewater challenges through chemistry, equipment, and operational expertise.
About the Role:
In this role, you'll work with industrial clients across sectors to deliver comprehensive wastewater solutions-from chemical treatment programs and reuse systems to fully integrated turnkey installations. You'll also support clients with staffing services, including placing skilled operators to run and maintain their treatment systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in industrial wastewater treatment.
- Consult with clients to assess treatment needs and recommend tailored solutions, including chemical programs, equipment packages, and staffing support.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to scope and deliver turnkey systems.
- Provide technical support and ongoing service to ensure client satisfaction and system performance.
- Stay current on regulatory trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in water reuse, pretreatment, and compliance.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in industrial wastewater sales, chemical treatment, or environmental consulting.
- Strong understanding of wastewater chemistry, treatment equipment, and plant operations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Willingness to travel regionally to meet with clients and support projects (up to 50-60%)
