Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to lead maintenance and troubleshooting of advanced, multi-complex system issues, including membrane systems and other water treatment technologies. This role demands expertise in mechanical, electrical, and process control systems, along with the ability to manage multiple projects and customer sites. Key Responsibilities
- Lead advanced troubleshooting and maintenance of water treatment systems.
- Perform diagnostics on PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems.
- Analyze technical issues and implement corrective actions.
- Train and mentor junior and mid-level technicians.
- Develop technical documentation and maintenance plans.
- Coordinate field service operations across multiple sites.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance system performance.
- Travel 50-90% to customer sites; up to 25% home/office work.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent technical certifications and experience.
- 5+ years in water/wastewater treatment, field service, or plant engineering.
- Expertise in MBR systems and process control.
- Strong background in PLC programming, HMI, and SCADA architecture.
- Experience with CAD design and system integration.
- Ability to obtain necessary customer clearances (TWIC, DISA, etc.) and DOT medical card.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively.
- Physical ability to walk, stand, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or related field.
- Experience with wastewater treatment operations.
