The Opportunity
A respected, employee‑owned engineering consulting firm is seeking an Electrical Engineer with experience in planning, design, and construction support services to join its growing infrastructure team. This role offers the opportunity to work on large‑scale municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater projects, including some of the most significant treatment facilities in the United States.

What You'll Do
As a key contributor on multi‑discipline project teams, you'll support projects from early planning through final design and construction. Responsibilities include:
- Electrical engineering design for water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure
- Low‑ and medium‑voltage power distribution systems (up to 34.5 kV)
- Motor control systems, MCC design, and standby power generation
- Grounding and lightning protection systems
- Interior and exterior lighting design
- Specification writing and construction cost estimating
- Technical coordination with project managers, designers, and clients
- Providing pragmatic, reliable solutions that meet operational and budgetary needs
You'll play a direct role in delivering infrastructure that serves communities and protects public health.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- 4+ years of relevant engineering experience, preferably in municipal or industrial infrastructure
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (MicroStation experience is a plus)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to highly collaborative teams
