About the Role
This firm is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join its structural team in Los Angeles. This is a leadership role for an experienced engineer ready to take ownership of projects from concept through completion. The right candidate will manage client relationships, guide project teams, and deliver technically sophisticated work in one of the most seismically active markets in the country.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple structural engineering projects simultaneously from initiation through closeout
- Serve as primary client contact, managing expectations, schedules, and deliverables
- Mentor and develop junior and mid-level engineering staff
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other project stakeholders
- Ensure technical quality and compliance across all project deliverables
- Contribute to business development and client relationship efforts
Qualifications
- 12+ years of structural engineering experience
- PE license required; SE license preferred
- Master's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering required
- Experience in seismic design is a strong plus
- Proven project management and client-facing experience
