Their Water Division is a recognized leader in designing and delivering advanced water and wastewater systems that serve millions of people. They are now seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to support the delivery of complex wastewater treatment projects.


Role Overview

The Senior Structural Engineer will lead the structural design and analysis of wastewater treatment facilities and related infrastructure. They will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, efficient, and sustainable solutions for municipal and industrial clients.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead structural design for wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and associated infrastructure
  • Conduct structural analysis using tools such as STAAD, RISA, or SAP2000
  • Prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
  • Collaborate with civil, mechanical, and process engineers to ensure integrated project delivery
  • Mentor junior engineers and review their work for quality and compliance
  • Support project planning, including scope, schedule, and budget development
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand project needs and provide technical leadership

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred)
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required
  • At least 8 years of structural engineering experience, including 3+ years in wastewater or water treatment projects
  • Strong knowledge of structural design codes (ACI, AISC, ASCE)
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Experience with BIM tools such as Revit is a plus
