We're looking for a driven and knowledgeable professional to step into a pivotal leadership role within our growing Survey and Geomatics division. This is more than a job-it's a chance to lead impactful projects, mentor emerging talent, and play a key role in expanding our presence in the region.
What You'll Do:
As our Survey Project Manager, you'll be the go-to expert for managing survey operations from kickoff to closeout. You'll work hand-in-hand with our Survey Practice Lead and field teams to ensure projects are delivered with precision, efficiency, and excellence. Your day-to-day will include:
- Overseeing field crews and office staff to keep projects on track and on budget
- Leading a variety of survey types, including boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS land title, and construction layout
- Producing detailed maps, plats, and legal descriptions
- Reviewing workflows and deliverables to maintain high standards of quality and accuracy
- Contributing to business development efforts through proposals, client outreach, and marketing support
What We're Looking For:
- Licensed as a Registered Land Surveyor (RLS) in Tennessee, or eligible for licensure soon
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in land surveying
- Skilled in AutoCAD Civil 3D; familiarity with Trimble Business Center is a bonus
- Deep understanding of modern surveying methods, tools, and regulations
- Strong project management capabilities, including budgeting, scheduling, and client communication
- Natural leader with excellent communication and mentoring skills
- Eager to help grow the business through relationship-building and community involvement
