Role Overview
They are looking to appoint a Civil CAD Designer to support their Land Development team on a broad portfolio of site development projects.
This individual will play a key role in producing detailed design drawings and construction documentation, working closely with engineers and project teams across all phases of the design process. The position offers exposure to a wide variety of project types and the opportunity to contribute to technically challenging work in a collaborative setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed civil site design plans and construction drawings using AutoCAD/Civil 3D
- Support the design and documentation of land development projects across commercial, residential, and institutional sectors
- Perform quantity take-offs, calculations, and design detailing in support of engineering deliverables
- Develop grading, drainage, utility, and paving layouts in line with project requirements
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to deliver coordinated design outputs
- Interpret design standards, codes, and client requirements to ensure compliance
- Assist with revisions and updates throughout design and construction phases
- Maintain high standards of accuracy, organization, and technical quality across all deliverables

Education & Qualifications
- Proficiency in AutoCAD required; experience with Civil 3D strongly preferred
- Prior experience in civil/site design, ideally within land development projects
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings, construction documentation, and design workflows
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Associate degree or higher in Civil Engineering Technology or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
