Salary: $105k - $150k
A well-established engineering consulting firm with a strong commitment to community improvement and employee development is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer / Project Manager. This role is ideal for professionals with a background in municipal and commercial facility design, who are passionate about leading impactful projects and mentoring others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead project planning, scheduling, and cost estimation efforts
- Conduct electrical studies including short circuit, load flow, and relay coordination
- Prepare electrical design documents such as one-line diagrams, schematics, and cable schedules
- Collaborate with contractors, clients, and facility operators
- Interpret and review control systems and construction drawings
- Develop technical specifications for equipment and construction
- Provide on-site support, field evaluations, and troubleshooting
- Mentor junior engineers and support cross-disciplinary collaboration
- Contribute to business development and proposal preparation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- Licensed Professional Engineer with 4+ years of post-licensure experience
- Strong background in design, construction management, and commissioning
- Familiarity with power system modeling tools (ETAP, SKM, EasyPower preferred)
- Knowledge of electrical construction methods and standards
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- High attention to detail and quality assurance
