Location: Spokane, Kennewick, WA; Coeur d'Alene, Meridian ID

Salary: $105k - $150k

A well-established engineering consulting firm with a strong commitment to community improvement and employee development is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer / Project Manager. This role is ideal for professionals with a background in municipal and commercial facility design, who are passionate about leading impactful projects and mentoring others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project planning, scheduling, and cost estimation efforts
  • Conduct electrical studies including short circuit, load flow, and relay coordination
  • Prepare electrical design documents such as one-line diagrams, schematics, and cable schedules
  • Collaborate with contractors, clients, and facility operators
  • Interpret and review control systems and construction drawings
  • Develop technical specifications for equipment and construction
  • Provide on-site support, field evaluations, and troubleshooting
  • Mentor junior engineers and support cross-disciplinary collaboration
  • Contribute to business development and proposal preparation

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
  • Licensed Professional Engineer with 4+ years of post-licensure experience
  • Strong background in design, construction management, and commissioning
  • Familiarity with power system modeling tools (ETAP, SKM, EasyPower preferred)
  • Knowledge of electrical construction methods and standards
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and quality assurance
