The Opportunity
A leading Energy as a Service provider is seeking a Project Controls Director to lead cost, schedule, and risk management for a major combined cycle power plant project in Millersport, Ohio. This role spans the full project lifecycle-from initial 488 MW development to a 1344 MW buildout-and offers high visibility with executive leadership and key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project controls strategy, systems, and reporting.
- Manage cost forecasting, scheduling, and Earned Value Management (EVM).
- Oversee a team of cost and scheduling professionals.
- Ensure compliance with investor and lender reporting requirements.
- Align project controls with EPC contractors and financial structures.
Qualifications
- 15+ years in project controls for large-scale infrastructure projects (>$1B).
- Deep expertise in cost and schedule management, including EVM.
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and cost management platforms.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder communication skills.
- Experience with EPC contracts and project finance.
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree and certifications preferred.
Preferred Experience
- Combined cycle power plant projects.
- Familiarity with MS Dynamics D365 and digital project tools.
- Exposure to phased buildouts and automated facility construction.
