This is a family-owned consulting firm with approximately 40 team members, specializing in civil engineering, municipal infrastructure, land surveying, landscape architecture, and planning. For over 80 years, the firm has provided design services for commercial, residential, industrial, and municipal projects throughout the Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati region.
Clients include public entities such as cities, counties, townships, and utility companies, as well as private developers such as home builders and large commercial/industrial development companies. The firm is seeking talented and motivated civil engineers who are ready to work across a variety of projects in a dynamic environment where no two days are alike.
Immediate openings are available in both the Erlanger, Kentucky and Milford, Ohio offices.
Position Requirements
* Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
* Licensure: Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in KY and/or OH preferred.
* Experience: 3+ years of experience in civil engineering/design required.
* Skills:
- Experience in municipal infrastructure projects
- Strong problem-solving and design capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks across various engineering assignments
- Deliver high-quality client support to both private and public sector clients
- Strong communication skills
- AutoCAD or Carlson experience required
* Characteristics:
- Self-sufficient and self-motivated
- Strong team player
Position Responsibilities
(Responsibilities may include the following):
* Municipal design and site development projects
* Utility, grading, drainage design
* Roadway reconstruction design
* Hydrology calculations
* Technical report writing
* Construction site review and inspection
* Delivering presentations to public agencies and clients
* Practical problem solving
* Client and public agency interaction
