We are seeking an experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join a leading geotechnical consulting firm recognized for its comprehensive engineering services, advanced technical capabilities, and proven track record on major infrastructure projects nationwide. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage geotechnical engineering projects from concept through completion.
  • Perform advanced soil and foundation analyses, including slope stability, settlement, and earth retention systems.
  • Oversee subsurface exploration programs, including drilling and sampling.
  • Prepare detailed geotechnical reports and recommendations for design and construction.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and field staff.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.
  • Support business development through proposal preparation and client engagement.

Qualifications

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum 8+ years of geotechnical engineering experience.
  • Strong knowledge of soil mechanics, foundation design, and geotechnical instrumentation.
  • Proficiency in geotechnical software (e.g., GeoStudio, PLAXIS, or similar).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with transportation, commercial, and infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with environmental site assessments and construction materials testing.
  • Strong leadership and client relationship management skills.
