Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage geotechnical engineering projects from concept through completion.
- Perform advanced soil and foundation analyses, including slope stability, settlement, and earth retention systems.
- Oversee subsurface exploration programs, including drilling and sampling.
- Prepare detailed geotechnical reports and recommendations for design and construction.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and field staff.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.
- Support business development through proposal preparation and client engagement.
Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering (Master's preferred).
- Minimum 8+ years of geotechnical engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of soil mechanics, foundation design, and geotechnical instrumentation.
- Proficiency in geotechnical software (e.g., GeoStudio, PLAXIS, or similar).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with transportation, commercial, and infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with environmental site assessments and construction materials testing.
- Strong leadership and client relationship management skills.
