We are partnering with a well-established structural engineering firm delivering high-quality design solutions across commercial, institutional, and infrastructure projects. Known for its collaborative, hands-on culture and technical excellence, the firm values practical, solutions-driven engineers.

Our client is seeking a Structural Engineer (5-8 years of experience) to join their growing team. The role offers remote flexibility, but candidates must be based in the Los Angeles area to support local projects and occasional in-person collaboration.

This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed engineer who is looking to take on increased responsibility, contribute to diverse projects, and grow within a respected consulting environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform structural analysis and design for a variety of building types and materials
Prepare construction documents, calculations, and technical reports
Collaborate with internal multidisciplinary teams and external project stakeholders
Conduct site visits and provide construction support as needed
Ensure designs meet applicable codes, standards, and client requirements
Assist in project coordination, scheduling, and delivery

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's degree required)
Professional Engineer (PE) license required
5-8 years of structural engineering experience
Strong knowledge of structural design software and industry standards
Experience with building design and construction documentation
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Must be currently based in the Los Angeles area (local candidates only; out-of-state applicants will not be considered)
