We are partnering with an owner and operator of utility-scale solar and battery storage assets. They are committed to driving the transition to renewable energy and delivering sustainable, reliable, and cost-effective energy solutions.

Position Overview: The Vice President of Asset Management will be responsible for overseeing the financial performance and optimization of our renewable energy assets. This role will involve strategic planning, operational management, and team development to ensure the long-term success and growth of their asset portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Performance: Monitor and analyze the financial performance of solar and battery storage assets, ensuring optimal returns and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Asset Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to maximize the efficiency and profitability of assets, including performance monitoring, maintenance planning, and risk management.
  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing asset management team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and execution of the company's strategic goals, including expansion plans and new project development.
  • Stakeholder Management: Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, regulatory bodies, and industry partners.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on asset performance, financial metrics, and strategic initiatives to senior management and the board of directors.
  • Compliance: Ensure all assets comply with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in the renewable energy industry.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, engineering, business administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in asset management, with a focus on renewable energy, utility-scale solar, and/or battery storage.
  • Proven track record of optimizing financial performance and managing large-scale assets.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with experience in developing and managing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
