The Opportunity
As part of their continued growth, the firm is seeking to appoint a senior Agribusiness Consultant to lead and expand their advisory services, with a particular focus on succession planning, financial modelling, and strategic advisory for primary producers.
This is a strategic hire-not just to meet current demand, but to shape the future of their advisory offering. The successful candidate will work closely with clients across the agricultural value chain, helping them navigate complex transitions and build resilient, future-ready businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality agribusiness consulting services to farming families and enterprises
- Lead succession and estate planning engagements with empathy and strategic insight
- Develop and interpret farm financial models and benchmarking reports
- Provide tax, compliance, and structural advice in collaboration with internal and external specialists
- Build long-term client relationships based on trust, value, and impact
- Contribute to the firm's broader investment and advisory strategy
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 6+ years' experience in agribusiness consulting, financial advisory, or a related field
- Background in Commerce, Agribusiness, or Agricultural Economics
- CPA or CA qualification (or working towards)
- Strong technical skills in financial modelling, forecasting, and business planning
- Deep understanding of the agricultural sector and the challenges facing primary producers
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in sensitive family business contexts
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a passion for regional Australia
