Air Quality Practice Lead
A prominent consulting firm is seeking an experienced Air Quality Department Lead to guide and expand our air quality services across diverse industrial sectors. Key Responsibilities
- Lead Department Operations: Oversee staffing, budgeting, resource allocation, and QA/QC processes to ensure excellence in project delivery.
- Manage Complex Projects: Direct air permitting and compliance initiatives for industrial clients, ensuring adherence to federal and state regulations.
- Provide Technical Leadership: Offer senior-level guidance on air quality regulations, emissions inventories, and dispersion modeling.
- Drive Business Growth: Identify and pursue new opportunities through proactive client engagement, strategic proposals, and market positioning.
- Strengthen Client Relationships: Maintain and expand partnerships with existing clients while cultivating new connections to support long-term growth.
- Deliver Strategic Insights: Present technical findings and actionable recommendations to clients and stakeholders in a clear, impactful manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Atmospheric Science, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in air quality permitting and compliance across multiple industries.
- Proven leadership and project management capabilities.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state air regulations (Clean Air Act, NSPS, NESHAP, Title V).
- Experience with air dispersion modeling tools (AERMOD, CALPUFF) preferred.
- Exceptional communication and technical writing skills.
- Ability to combine technical leadership with strategic client engagement and business development.
