Building Envelope Project Manager

We are working with a specialized Building Envelope and Asset Management consulting firm focused on improving building performance, durability, and lifecycle value. The firm supports owners, developers, architects, and contractors through forensic investigations, testing, commissioning, and construction-phase services. ROLE OVERVIEW
They're seeking an experienced Project Manager to support building enclosure assessments and asset management projects. This role delivers technical reports aligned with client standards, coordinates with internal teams and external consultants, and supports senior leadership. The position includes cross-training toward future client-facing leadership responsibilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Apply industry testing standards (AAMA, ASTM, etc.)
- Execute building assessment scopes, including forensic investigations and commissioning
- Implement codes, standards, and client requirements into project documentation
- Review and administer contract documents during construction
- Develop Owner Project Requirements (OPR)
- Coordinate with architectural, structural, and MEP consultants
- Perform peer reviews and identify document deficiencies
- Support proposals, contracts, and project scoping
- Mentor junior staff and support team development
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5-10 years of experience in building envelope consulting, architecture, engineering, or construction
- Experience producing or overseeing building envelope documentation or installation
- IIBEC credentials (RRO, RRC, REWO, RWC, etc.)
- Strong communication and client service skills
- Familiarity with OSHA requirements
- Knowledge of RFP/RFQ processes and contract language
- Willingness to travel regionally and perform field work on active job sites
- Proficiency with Bluebeam, Autodesk, and Microsoft Office
