The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a site-based civil engineer who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about delivering high-quality infrastructure. You'll play a key role in managing on-site civil works, ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate civil engineering activities on-site, ensuring alignment with project specifications and timelines.
- Interpret technical drawings and ensure accurate implementation on the ground.
- Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams to maintain smooth project execution.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality assurance checks.
- Monitor health, safety, and environmental compliance.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide practical engineering solutions.
- Report on progress and escalate any risks or delays to project managers.
What We're Looking For
- Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- 3-5 years of experience in site-based civil engineering roles, ideally on large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and regulatory standards.
- Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MS Project.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Chartered or working towards chartership is advantageous.
