Job Title: Control Systems Architect

We are seeking a Control Systems Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced automation solutions. This role is based in Allendale, NJ.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop cutting-edge control systems architecture tailored to customer requirements, ensuring high performance and reliability.
  • Lead various stages of development including requirement analysis, system design, hardware selection, UI, performance validation, and maintenance planning.
  • Serve as the primary technical contact for clients and collaborate with project management to set timelines and delivery dates.
  • Work with sales management to determine project costs and support the development of customer-facing business tools.
  • Conduct walkdowns with account managers to understand client applications and assist on small projects to gain deeper insights.
  • Communicate internally to resolve customer satisfaction issues and suggest process improvements.
  • Support sales and business unit management teams in achieving initiatives.
  • Travel within the NYC Tri-State Area and complete formal training programs.

Prerequisites:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, or chemical preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience with control systems, including leadership roles in HMI, PLCs, MES, and SCADA.
  • 5+ years of experience in designing control systems solutions and software architecture.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, CRMs, and ERP tools.
  • Strong organizational, time management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to maintain strong relationships with customers and continuously learn about new market solutions.
