Controls Sales Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Consult with existing customers on HVAC system replacement and retrofit projects
  • Conduct site surveys, perform load calculations, prepare estimates, and present consultative design-build and energy conservation solutions
  • Drive sales, revenue, and gross profit targets
  • Advise clients on financial considerations such as ROI, payback, leasing vs. purchasing, and cash flow impact

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years of HVAC industry experience
  • Proficiency in heating and cooling load calculations
  • Experience selling HVAC mechanical solutions
  • Strong understanding of financial decision drivers and buying motives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
