The Electrical Commissioning Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Leading electrical commissioning activities for smaller projects and supporting senior team members on larger, more complex systems.
  • Developing commissioning plans, performing design reviews, and creating job progress documentation.
  • Conducting pre‑functional testing, functional performance testing, and system verification.
  • Preparing project closeout materials, including reports and final documentation.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure systems meet quality, performance, and compliance requirements.

The Electrical Commissioning Specialist should have the following:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical design, construction administration, commissioning, building operations, or related technical fields.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and construction or design development processes.
  • Proficiency with commissioning software such as CxAlloy.
  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed.
  • Preferred qualifications include a commissioning certification (ACG CxT or CxA), LEED accreditation, and an associate or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline.
