The Electrical Commissioning Specialist will be responsible for:
- Leading electrical commissioning activities for smaller projects and supporting senior team members on larger, more complex systems.
- Developing commissioning plans, performing design reviews, and creating job progress documentation.
- Conducting pre‑functional testing, functional performance testing, and system verification.
- Preparing project closeout materials, including reports and final documentation.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure systems meet quality, performance, and compliance requirements.
The Electrical Commissioning Specialist should have the following:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical design, construction administration, commissioning, building operations, or related technical fields.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and construction or design development processes.
- Proficiency with commissioning software such as CxAlloy.
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed.
- Preferred qualifications include a commissioning certification (ACG CxT or CxA), LEED accreditation, and an associate or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline.
