Electrical Designer
A growing MEP consulting firm based in Tampa is seeking an experienced Electrical Designer to join its team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects including commercial, healthcare, industrial, education, and island developments. Responsibilities:
Design electrical systems for buildings including power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems
Prepare construction documents and technical specifications
Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure project success
Participate in design exercises and technical reviews during the interview process
Contribute to unique and varied projects across Florida and the Caribbean
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical design for MEP building systems
Experience in commercial, healthcare, industrial, or educational projects
Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit experience preferred but not required
Strong technical understanding of electrical systems and design principles
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Must be based in or willing to relocate to the Southeast U.S. (Florida preferred)
U.S. education required; no visa sponsorship available
Compensation and Benefits:

In-office role, five days per week with limited flexibility as needed
