Job Title: Field Engineer - Water Purification Systems

Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Field Engineer to support the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced water purification and desalination systems. This role involves direct interaction with clients, coordination with internal engineering teams, and hands-on work with mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, commission, and validate high-purity water systems including vapor compression distillers, reverse osmosis units, and pretreatment systems.
- Perform routine and emergency maintenance on mechanical and electrical components.
- Troubleshoot system issues and provide technical support both remotely and on-site.
- Interface with clients to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Document service activities, prepare detailed reports, and maintain accurate records.
- Train customer personnel on system operation and maintenance procedures.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to improve system performance and reliability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent technical field.
- 2+ years of experience in field service or engineering support, preferably in water treatment or industrial systems.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, pumps, valves, instrumentation, and PLC-based controls.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and electrical schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively, including internationally.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with GMP environments and pharmaceutical-grade water systems.
- Familiarity with automation platforms such as Allen-Bradley or Siemens.
- Knowledge of water chemistry and purification technologies.
