Key Responsibilities:

In this geotechnical/structural engineering role, responsibilities include:

  • Investigating and designing deep and shallow foundations, earth-retaining structures, and excavation support systems.
  • Conducting soil settlement, slope stability, and groundwater analyses.
  • Evaluating structures such as dams, tunnels, and pavements.
  • Diagnosing failures and deterioration in existing structures and designing repairs.
  • Supporting new construction and rehabilitation efforts.
  • Contributing to litigation support and insurance claim investigations.

Expect to manage projects, coordinate with clients, supervise staff, and contribute to internal training and development.

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of relevant experience in civil/geotechnical/structural engineering.
  • Professional licensure (PE).
  • MS or PhD in Civil Engineering, with a focus in Geotechnical or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
  • Strong command of specialized software (e.g., GEOSLOPE, Slide, Plaxis, LPILE, ETABS, SAP2000).
  • Proven project management and client communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel to job sites, including remote locations.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Estimated Salary Range: $100,000-$140,000 (not including bonus, overtime, or profit sharing).
