The Opportunity

We are seeking an Entry-Level / Staff Geotechnical Engineer in Florida who has successfully passed the E.I.T. and is eager to begin building a long‑term career in geotechnical engineering.

This position offers structured mentorship under licensed Professional Engineers, exposure to meaningful public‑sector work, and the chance to gain hands‑on experience early in your career on projects that truly make an impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with subsurface investigations, field observations, and geotechnical data collection
  • Support geotechnical analysis, engineering calculations, and technical reporting
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers on design recommendations
  • Contribute to Federal, State, and Municipal infrastructure projects, including environmentally sensitive Everglades initiatives
  • Participate in both field and office‑based technical work

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Engineer‑in‑Training (E.I.T.) passed - required
  • Strong interest in geotechnical engineering and public‑sector infrastructure
  • Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn
  • Ability and availability to start ASAP
