Location: Glastonbury, CT

A nationally respected, 1,000‑person transportation engineering firm is growing its Connecticut team and seeking a Highway Project Manager to lead impactful roadway and infrastructure projects. This firm operates across the Midwest, East Coast, and Texas, offering the capabilities of a major transportation consultant while maintaining a personal, supportive culture without heavy corporate layers.

About the Firm

This firm is widely recognized for its expertise in complex, urban transportation environments-including transit, rail, toll roads, intermodal facilities, and constrained corridors. They have strong capabilities in design‑build, progressive DB, and CMGC, and are well‑trusted by public‑sector clients for technical excellence and reliability.

They are also employee‑owned, with an ESOP that provides meaningful long‑term value. Engineers describe the culture as collaborative, low‑politics, and growth‑oriented. Leadership is accessible, decision‑making is streamlined, and staff have opportunities to work on high‑profile projects without feeling like just a number.

The PM will manage small to mid‑sized roadway projects and lead major components of larger initiatives.
