The Role

As a Structural Engineer, you will be involved in both restoration and new construction projects, working closely with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams. Responsibilities include:

  • Structural design and analysis of residential and commercial buildings.

  • Preparing drawings, specifications, and technical reports.

  • Collaborating with project managers and senior engineers on diverse projects.

  • Coordinating design details with architectural and MEP teams.

  • Conducting site visits, inspections, and supporting construction administration.

  • Ensuring compliance with NYC building codes, local laws, and industry standards.

Candidate Profile

  • 3-5 years of structural engineering experience in New York City (required).

  • On track to gain PE License in NYC
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred).

  • Experience with the design of residential or commercial structures.

  • Strong knowledge of steel, concrete, and masonry design.

  • Familiarity with NYC building codes and filing requirements.

  • Proficiency with engineering software such as AutoCAD, RISA, RAM, or ETABS.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
