What You'll Be Doing
- Lead and manage a team to deliver high-quality site and construction plans
- Take ownership of projects from conceptual design through construction administration
- Collaborate closely with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams
- Oversee permitting, documentation, and regulatory compliance
- Present to clients, agencies, and the public with confidence
- Help drive innovation, efficiency, and technical excellence across projects
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Registered P.E. in North Carolina and South Carolina
- 7+ years of experience in civil engineering
- Proven experience across residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects
- Strong expertise in:
- Grading and stormwater management (PCCO)
- Erosion control and earthwork balancing
- Sewer, water systems, and related infrastructure
- Experience with Civil 3D (2019+) and tools such as Hydroflow, Hydragraph, Storm Sewer, HEC-RAS, WaterCAD (SiteOps a plus)
- Strong communication skills and confidence presenting to stakeholders
- Ability to lead teams and collaborate in a fast-moving environment
- Knowledge of local ordinances, rezoning, and permitting processes
Bonus Experience
- Pump stations, force mains, and low-pressure sewer systems
- RFQ/RFP response experience
