A multidisciplinary design firm is seeking a skilled and collaborative professional to join its Landscape Architecture team. The firm specializes in a wide range of projects, including public parks, master-planned communities, urban redevelopment, retail, hospitality, and resort developments.
Role Overview
The Project Manager / Landscape Architect will lead and support the design and delivery of landscape architecture projects. Responsibilities include site analysis, conceptual design, planting plans, construction documentation, and overall project coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development: Contribute to proposal preparation, client engagement, and participation in industry events.
- Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, agencies, and stakeholders.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor team members, ensuring effective resource allocation.
- Budget & Scheduling: Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources for efficiency and profitability.
- Project Management: Oversee planning, design, and execution of diverse projects such as parks, trails, recreation facilities, campuses, and community developments.
- Quality & Compliance: Ensure adherence to design standards, codes, and regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program.
- Registered Landscape Architect license.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2024 or later).
- Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
- Proven leadership experience managing teams and complex projects.
Preferred Skills:
- 10+ years of professional experience in design firms.
- Familiarity with LandFX, Civil 3D, Revit, Lumion.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and SketchUp (2024 or later).
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $80,000 - $110,000 annually.
