The Opportunity
We are seeking a Project Manager or Director to lead the development and/or acquisition of utility-scale power generation projects across North America. This role supports the acceleration of AI and data center infrastructure, clean energy deployment, and community development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all phases of project development from inception through financial close.
- Oversee site acquisition, permitting, regulatory approvals, and stakeholder engagement.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and manage EPC, O&M, and financing contracts.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, legal, finance, and external partners.
- Evaluate new project opportunities, respond to RFPs, and support M&A activities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal leadership and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, economics, environmental science, or related field (MBA a plus).
- 5+ years of experience in energy project development or infrastructure.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with permitting, environmental, and regulatory frameworks.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects in a matrixed environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed across North America.
