Our client is actively seeking a talented Interior Designer with specialized experience in healthcare, cultural, educational, or institutional environments. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful, high-impact projects while supporting a firm known for its commitment to design excellence, creativity, and contextual integrity.
In this role, you will be involved in the design development of a major institutional project, with future opportunities to work on a diverse portfolio that includes residential, cultural, and educational developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior designers and project teams to translate conceptual ideas into cohesive interior design solutions.
- Develop and manage detailed technical documentation, including construction drawings and specifications.
- Create efficient and thoughtful space plans that prioritize functionality, comfort, and accessibility.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure seamless integration of interior design within the overall project framework.
- Select and specify materials, finishes, fixtures, and furnishings that align with the project's aesthetic and performance goals.
- Ensure all designs comply with applicable building codes, safety regulations, and accessibility standards.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers and interns, fostering professional growth and maintaining design integrity.
Qualifications
- Professional degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in an interior design or architecture firm.
- Proven experience in healthcare, educational, civic, or institutional interior design projects.
- Strong design sensibility paired with solid technical expertise.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A collaborative mindset and active engagement in studio culture.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong graphic and presentation skills, with an eye for detail and clarity.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: $85,000 - $105,000, commensurate with experience.
