A well-established construction company in the Baltimore area is seeking a Superintendent with hands-on experience in asphalt, paving, grading, or concrete. This role is responsible for overseeing field operations and ensuring that civil construction projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily field operations on paving and civil construction sites
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and field crews
- Ensure work is completed on schedule and within budget
- Enforce safety protocols and environmental compliance
- Conduct site inspections and maintain accurate field reports
- Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for project execution
Qualifications
- 3+ years of field supervision experience in paving or heavy civil construction
- Strong knowledge of asphalt, grading, and concrete operations
- Proven ability to lead crews and manage multiple job sites
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally to job sites
