A growing site development contractor is seeking an experienced Pipe Foreman to lead crews on underground utility installation projects. This role is ideal for a hands‑on leader with strong experience in water, sewer, and storm drain work.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily field operations for underground utility installation
- Lead crews installing water, sanitary sewer, and storm systems
- Coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials to meet production goals
- Read and interpret plans, elevations, and specifications
- Ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards
- Communicate effectively with Superintendents and project teams
- Enforce trench safety and jobsite compliance
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Pipe Foreman or Lead Utility Foreman
- Strong background in underground utilities (water, sewer, storm)
- Ability to read civil drawings and understand grades
- Proven leadership and crew management skills
- Knowledge of trench safety and OSHA requirements
