We are working with a client who is seeking a highly skilled Professional Land Surveyor to join a leading engineering and surveying team in Montana. This is an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects across the region, including transportation, infrastructure, and land development. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering accurate and high-quality survey data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform boundary, topographic, and construction surveys with precision and compliance to state regulations.
- Prepare and review plats, legal descriptions, and survey reports.
- Utilize advanced surveying equipment and software for data collection and analysis.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure project success.
- Manage field crews and provide mentorship to junior staff.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and quality control procedures.
Qualifications:
- Active Montana Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license required.
- 5+ years of experience in land surveying, including project management.
- Proficiency with GPS, robotic total stations, and CAD software.
- Strong understanding of state and local surveying laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
