Project Architect
This well established firm with an emphasis on unique and impactful design is looking for a detail-oriented and creative Project Architect to join their team and contribute to the design and delivery of high-impact projects in commercial, hospitality, and institutional projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a passion for design, and experience navigating all phases of architectural work-from concept development through construction administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design Development: Collaborate with design teams to develop architectural concepts and translate them into detailed drawings and models.
- Technical Documentation: Produce and coordinate construction documents, specifications, and permit sets in compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Project Coordination: Work closely with consultants, engineers, and contractors to ensure design intent is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
- Code Compliance: Ensure all designs meet zoning, building codes, ADA, and other regulatory requirements.
- Construction Administration: Participate in site visits, respond to RFIs, review submittals, and assist in resolving field conditions.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of accuracy and consistency across all project documentation.
- Mentorship: Support junior staff and contribute to a collaborative studio culture.
Qualifications:
- Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch).
- Architectural licensure or on track for licensure.
- 10+ years of professional experience, with a strong portfolio in commercial, hospitality, and institutional projects.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of building systems, materials, and construction methods.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- LEED accreditation or interest in sustainable design is a plus.
