Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Project Engineer to join our dynamic geotechnical team in Rocklin. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects including infrastructure, land development, environmental remediation, and earthquake engineering. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support geotechnical investigations, analyses, and design for public and private sector projects.
- Prepare technical reports, proposals, and project documentation.
- Coordinate field exploration programs including drilling, sampling, and in-situ testing.
- Perform engineering analyses including slope stability, settlement, liquefaction, and foundation design.
- Interface with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure project success.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to internal knowledge sharing and development.
Qualifications:
- B.S. in Civil Engineering (required); M.S. in Geotechnical Engineering (preferred).
- 3-6 years of relevant geotechnical experience.
- California PE license or ability to obtain within 12 months.
- Strong communication and technical writing skills.
- Proficiency in geotechnical software (e.g., GeoStudio, LPILE, gINT).
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally for fieldwork.
