Senior Project Manager - Building Automation (Data Center)
Location: Remote (U.S. based)
Salary: Up to $180,000 USD annually
Travel: Occasional travel required to client sites across the U.S.
About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead complex building automation projects within hyperscale and colocation data centers. This remote role offers the opportunity to manage high-value programs that integrate cutting-edge BAS, PLC, and SCADA systems, ensuring seamless delivery from design through commissioning.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project execution for building automation systems in data center environments.
- Manage scope, budget, schedule, and risk across multiple concurrent projects.
- Coordinate with internal engineering teams, contractors, OEMs, and client stakeholders.
- Oversee system integration including BAS, EPMS, DCIM, and HVAC controls.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., Uptime Institute Tier III/IV, NFPA 70E).
- Conduct site visits for project kickoff, installation oversight, and commissioning support.
- Utilize project management tools such as Procore, BIM 360, and MS Project.
- Provide executive-level reporting and client-facing communication.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in building automation or controls within mission-critical environments.
- Proven track record managing large-scale data center projects.
- Strong knowledge of BAS, PLC, SCADA platforms (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Niagara 4).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
