Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to oversee the day-to-day execution of development projects, including ground-up construction and tenant fit-outs. This role also involves early-stage planning, design coordination, and estimating for strategic pursuits with developers and owners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Foster and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and service.
  • Lead project management activities including administration, coordination, and close-out.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery-on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
  • Engage with local authorities, vendors, and partners to support project compliance and execution.
  • Represent the organization in presentations to public officials, clients, and community stakeholders.
  • Travel to project sites as needed (approximately 15%), primarily within North Carolina and surrounding regions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience in real estate development, construction, or design, ideally with exposure to healthcare or commercial sectors.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects at various stages.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, negotiate effectively, and challenge the status quo constructively.
  • Willingness to relocate or work remotely with periodic travel, if not based in Raleigh or Indianapolis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, PE, CHC, CHFM, LEED AP, or FACHE are a plus.
