Project Manager - Substation

We are actively seeking a seasoned Substation Project Manager to lead the execution of high-voltage substation projects from planning through energization. This role is responsible for managing scope, schedule, budget, and safety across multiple stakeholders, ensuring successful delivery of complex utility infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of substation construction projects, including engineering coordination, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and client specifications.
• Lead project meetings and coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and utility clients.
• Manage change orders, risk mitigation strategies, and project documentation.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to field teams and support staff.
• Report project status to senior leadership and clients with transparency and accuracy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing substation or high-voltage utility projects.
• Strong understanding of substation components, construction sequencing, and utility standards.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractor performance.
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
