Who We're Looking For
You're a dynamic, experienced engineer who's passionate about making a difference. You bring technical expertise, leadership skills, and a proactive mindset to every project. You're excited by the opportunity to work on cutting-edge initiatives in water management, green infrastructure, and environmental equity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle civil and water resource design projects, including PS&E development, specifications, and cost estimates
- Manage multidisciplinary teams and subconsultants
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development
- Conduct client meetings and ensure project goals are met
- Prepare proposals and scopes for new project pursuits
- Maintain project schedules and budgets to support team well-being
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to clients and stakeholders
- Apply critical thinking and creative problem-solving to complex challenges
Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in civil design, including 2+ years in project management
- California PE license required
- Ability to work from the Pasadena office
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Experience with construction document development
- Adaptability and a proactive approach
Preferred:
- Experience managing subconsultants
- Prior work with public agencies
- Background in water resources or land/site development projects
