Who We're Looking For

You're a dynamic, experienced engineer who's passionate about making a difference. You bring technical expertise, leadership skills, and a proactive mindset to every project. You're excited by the opportunity to work on cutting-edge initiatives in water management, green infrastructure, and environmental equity.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle civil and water resource design projects, including PS&E development, specifications, and cost estimates
  • Manage multidisciplinary teams and subconsultants
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development
  • Conduct client meetings and ensure project goals are met
  • Prepare proposals and scopes for new project pursuits
  • Maintain project schedules and budgets to support team well-being
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to clients and stakeholders
  • Apply critical thinking and creative problem-solving to complex challenges

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience in civil design, including 2+ years in project management
  • California PE license required
  • Ability to work from the Pasadena office
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Experience with construction document development
  • Adaptability and a proactive approach

Preferred:

  • Experience managing subconsultants
  • Prior work with public agencies
  • Background in water resources or land/site development projects
