Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and driven Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of water and wastewater treatment plant projects in the Quad Cities region. This role requires a hands-on leader with a deep understanding of heavy civil construction and a passion for infrastructure development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.
- Coordinate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project objectives are met.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality control, and environmental regulations.
- Conduct regular project meetings, generate progress reports, and proactively resolve issues.
- Oversee procurement and subcontractor management.
- Utilize project management tools (e.g., ProCore) for documentation and communication.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing water/wastewater or heavy civil construction projects.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multi-million-dollar infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and cost control.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
