A well-established construction firm specializing in marine and industrial projects is seeking a Project Estimator/Manager to support ongoing growth in the Hampton Roads region. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, responsive services, the company continues to expand its footprint across Virginia and North Carolina.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review bid requests and prepare detailed estimates and project plans
- Manage client communications and coordinate changes to bid packages and change orders
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure smooth project execution
- Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial targets are met
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting
- Oversee project progress and address any delays or issues proactively
- Provide leadership and support to project teams to ensure successful outcomes
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant construction experience
- High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade-related education preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Proficiency with tools such as Excel, Microsoft Project, Procore, and NetSuite
- Experience in marine construction is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
