Project Scheduler - Transmission Line and Substation
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Scheduler to support planning and scheduling efforts on complex construction and power delivery projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project controls and scheduling, with hands-on expertise in Primavera P6.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to gather input and ensure schedule accuracy.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates, forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Identify schedule risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Support resource loading, cost integration, and earned value analysis as needed.
- Prepare and present schedule reports and dashboards for internal and client stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in project scheduling within the construction or power delivery sectors.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 is required.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, critical path method (CPM), and construction workflows.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
- Experience with transmission, distribution, or substation projects.
- Familiarity with union labor environments and utility clients.
Location:
Flexible, with preference for candidates located near major utility hubs or project sites.
