Sales Engineer - Northeast Region
Location: Must reside in NY, RI, MA, VT, NH, ME, or CT
Remote Work: Allowed
Travel: 1-3 nights per week

Position Summary
The Sales Engineer will drive growth in decentralized (large/commercial) advanced treatment systems within the Northeast region. This role focuses on building strong relationships with engineers, regulatory agencies, contractors, and developers to secure product specifications and expand project opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Grow decentralized system sales by 50% annually for the first three years
- Build long-term relationships with decision-makers through meetings, presentations, and industry events
- Track projects and relationships using CRM tools
- Monthly activity targets:
- 30 meetings with consulting engineers/design influencers
- 2 formal presentations (lunch & learns, chapter meetings)
- Add 9 large commercial projects to pipeline
- Provide occasional regulatory and technical support for single-family systems
- Deliver monthly forecast reports
Qualifications
- Education: BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering (preferred)
- Experience:
- Strong technical presentation skills
- Ability to identify and close large project specifications
- Problem-solving, communication, and adaptability
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
- CRM experience
- Other Requirements:
- Ability to travel (1-3 nights/week)
- Comfortable working remotely and while traveling
- Valid driver's license, insurance, and satisfactory driving record
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
- Primarily office-based with travel to project sites
- Exposure to outdoor conditions and occasional wastewater handling (PPE required)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
- Frequent sitting, computer work, and intermittent physical activity
- Travel may include driving and air travel
