Our client, a well‑established, award‑winning multidisciplinary engineering firm in Oregon and southwest Washington is looking to bring on a Senior Bridge Engineer to help build and lead a new bridge division. Role Overview:
* Design and rehabilitate bridges, retaining walls, noise barriers, and transportation structures
* Lead feasibility and alternative studies for complex bridge projects
* Produce engineering calculations, code checks, plans, specifications, and load ratings
* Manage project scopes, budgets, schedules, and subconsultants
* Oversee multiple projects and direct engineering/technical staff
* Maintain client relationships and coordinate across disciplines and agencies
* Participate in business development and help grow a structural/bridge practice
* Provide QA/QC and resolve construction‑phase issues

What They're Looking For:
* Bachelor's in Civil Engineering
* Licensed Engineer in OR & WA (or ability to obtain via reciprocity)
* 10+ years of experience, primarily in bridge engineering
* Strong knowledge of AASHTO LRFD, AISC, ACI, and NDS
* Familiarity with state transportation agencies (experience with ODOT preferred)
* Proficiency in bridge design software + understanding of AutoCAD/MicroStation
* Strong technical writing and communication skills
