About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Coastal Engineer to join a leading international consultancy with a strong presence in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region. This role offers the opportunity to work on iconic coastal and marine infrastructure projects, contributing to sustainable development and climate resilience across the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver complex coastal engineering projects from concept through to detailed design and implementation.
  • Provide technical expertise in coastal processes, modelling, and design of coastal protection, marine structures, and nature-based solutions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including environmental scientists, planners, and civil engineers.
  • Engage with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure project alignment and compliance.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical excellence and innovation within the team.
  • Support business development activities including proposal writing, client presentations, and strategic growth initiatives.

About You

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Coastal Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in coastal engineering, ideally within a consultancy environment.
  • Strong proficiency in numerical modelling tools (e.g., MIKE, Delft3D, etc).
  • Proven track record in delivering coastal infrastructure projects in Australia or APAC.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Passion for sustainable coastal development and climate adaptation.
