Senior Commercial Executive
Role Overview
This position supports the Group's vessel conversion projects, encompassing areas such as marketing, commercial enquiry handling, project execution, and other relevant tasks essential to business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and respond to customer enquiries, tenders, and RFQs in line with technical and commercial requirements.
- Develop Excel-based pricing and cost analysis models.
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to prepare commercial proposals, coordinating with internal stakeholders.
- Handle pre-qualification documents and clarification exchanges between customers and internal teams.
- Track and ensure adherence to customer deadlines.
- Assist project managers during execution phases, particularly with variation order cost estimates and customer billing.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients through consistent communication.
- Uphold company HSE and quality standards by participating in related initiatives.
- Collaborate with project planners and managers to create and maintain construction schedules.
- Facilitate communication between customers and internal project teams.
- Collect market intelligence to support business forecasting.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Business or Engineering.
- 5-8 years of industry experience, including at least 3 years in commercial roles; experience in module construction and project management is preferred.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and prepare commercial documentation.
- Strong commercial awareness and Excel modeling skills.
- Proactive in gathering information and making informed decisions.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Capable of working independently in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.
- Willingness to travel internationally for short-term project assignments.
- Comfortable working across diverse teams and cultures.
