Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid - 2 Days Remote)
Salary: $100,000 - $140,000
An experienced Electrical Estimator is needed to join a growing electrical contractor based in Houston, TX, specializing in commercial ground-up construction and large-scale renovation projects. This position offers flexibility, strong benefits, and the opportunity to work on technically complex, healthcare-focused commercial projects, including warehouses, medical facilities, and office buildings.
The estimator will be responsible for projects ranging in value from $500,000 to $4.5 million, covering both new construction and larger remodels.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed electrical estimates for commercial construction projects
- Perform take-offs, pricing, and proposal development using Accubid
- Review drawings, specifications, and scopes of work
- Coordinate with project management and operations teams
- Accurately evaluate labor, material, and subcontractor costs
- Support bid strategy, value engineering, and scope clarifications
- Participate in pre-bid meetings and internal reviews
Required Experience & Skills
- 7+ years of electrical estimating experience
- Proven background with a commercial electrical contractor
- Accubid experience required
- Healthcare project exposure strongly preferred
- Experience estimating projects valued between $500K and $4.5M
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

- Salary: $100,000 - $140,000
